Callum did snatch the card away before Megan could grab that, too, and placed it in his pocket. He then took the hound back from Megan and placed him, pride of place on his desk. Callum couldn't take his eyes away from the stunning toy as he sat there and ate his lunch. He ignored the looks his partner shot his way, and the questions she constantly asked.

Pyro's card made Callum's heart ache a little. He couldn't expect the man to wait around for him forever. Callum had shit he needed to sort out in his head, and he needed to decide one way or the other.
